Unplug

Hello Perfectly Flawed,

My thought bubble for the week: “Sometimes we have to unplug ourselves from the things going on around us. Unplug from the negativity that’s injected into us on a daily basis. The negativity that affects us mentally and emotionally. We have to sit still and process our thoughts to filter out the bad and filter in the good. Remember, healthy thoughts and emotions produce healthy behaviors. Sit still, listen, and process. Have a great week my perfectly flawed beautiful people!”

Anger

Hello Perfectly Flawed,

My thought bubble for the week: “Some people have used anger as a go to emotion so long that it has become a habit. Anger is a natural emotion but considered a secondary emotion. If you struggle with anger issues, what is the primary emotion. Is it guilt, shame, jealousy, sadness, depression, anxiety, frustration, etc.? Identify the primary emotion/emotions then try to identify what’s triggering that emotion. Is the trigger cognitive (unhealthy thoughts), relationships, situational, behavioral, environmental, or physical? Once you’ve identified the trigger try to process why it triggers that primary emotion that leads to anger. Then ask yourself if you need to accept, alter, or alleviate the trigger so that it no longer affects you in a negative way.”  Have a beautiful healthy thinking week!

Self

Hello Perfectly Flawed,

My thought bubble for the week: “Self-awareness leads to self-acceptance. Self-acceptance leads to self-confidence. Self-confidence leads to self-esteem. Self-esteem leads to self-worth. Self-worth leads to self-love. Self-love leads to being comfortable in your own skin. Being comfortable in your own skin leads to an unexplainable sense of freedom. Remember we are all perfectly flawed. Have a great week my beautiful perfectly flawed people!

Thoughts

Hello Perfectly Flawed,

My thought bubble for the week: “As we approach the end of the year let’s reflect on the positive things, the things we are thankful for. Alot of unhealthy thoughts, unhealthy emotions, and unhealthy feelings come from people reflecting on what they don’t have or didn’t have. Stop allowing negative thoughts to be your automatic thoughts. Restructure your thought process, change your mindset, change your perspective, change your way of thinking. Have a great week my perfectly flawed beautiful people!

Comfort Zone

Hello Perfectly Flawed,

My thought bubble for the week: “When your comfort zone is no longer comfortable it means that you’ve outgrown it. Know when to remove yourself from a situation. Have a great week my perfectly flawed beautiful people!”

Self Talk

Hello Perfectly Flawed,

My thought bubble for the week: “Stop talking yourself into sadness, unhappiness, jealousy, fear, anger, doubt, low self-esteem, anxiety, worthlessness, and misery. This is called negative self-talk. Instead, use positive self-talk to talk yourself into happiness, fearlessness, worthiness, self-esteem,  self-confidence, joy, and peace. Have a great week my perfectly flawed beautiful people!”

Getting Back Up

Hello Perfectly Flawed,

My thought bubble for the week: “When you’ve been defeated by something or someone, simply pick yourself up and dust yourself off. Reflect on the situation, process the information, learn from it, refocus your thoughts, and keep moving forward with life. REFLECT, PROCESS, LEARN, REFOCUS, AND KEEP IT MOVING.” Have a great week my perfectly flawed beautiful people!

Untitled

Hello Perfectly Flawed,

My thought bubble for the week: When we fill our body with unhealthy things and don’t take care of it, our body starts to break down. We start having physical symptoms and health issues. So what happens to our mind when we fill it with unhealthy negative thoughts? It starts to break down. We start feeling overwhelmed, stressed out, anxious, depressed, hopeless, etc. We start having mental and emotional health issues. So just like we work at exercising and eating healthy to be physically healthy; we have to work at filling our mind with healthy and positive thoughts so that we can be emotionally and mentally healthy. Have a great week my perfectly flawed beautiful people!

Listening

Hello Perfectly Flawed,

My thought bubble for the week: “Last week I learned a lesson about interpreting information the way I wanted to; in a way that would benefit me. I was not paying attention to what the person was actually saying and definitely not paying attention to what they weren’t saying. I only heard what I wanted to hear. The lesson I learned is, when people are talking to us we have to not just hear them but we have to actually listen and pay attention. We have to listen to what they are actually saying and also to what they are not saying. Interpreting information the way we want to leads to misunderstandings, confusion, broken hearts, and disappointment. Oh well, we live, we learn, and keep it moving. Have a great week my perfectly flawed beautiful people!!

The Process

Hello Perfectly Flawed,

My thought bubble for the week: “Sometimes it’s hard going through the process. It takes a lot of work to stay focused on God’s promise and not the actual process. It takes work redirecting your thoughts and having the faith that things are going to work out. Hang in there! Focus on the promise and not the process. The process helps us to appreciate the promise.”
