Self Talk

Hello Perfectly Flawed,

My thought bubble for the week: “Stop talking yourself into sadness, unhappiness, jealousy, fear, anger, doubt, low self-esteem, anxiety, worthlessness, and misery. This is called negative self-talk. Instead, use positive self-talk to talk yourself into happiness, fearlessness, worthiness, self-esteem,  self-confidence, joy, and peace. Have a great week my perfectly flawed beautiful people!”

Getting Back Up

Hello Perfectly Flawed,

My thought bubble for the week: “When you’ve been defeated by something or someone, simply pick yourself up and dust yourself off. Reflect on the situation, process the information, learn from it, refocus your thoughts, and keep moving forward with life. REFLECT, PROCESS, LEARN, REFOCUS, AND KEEP IT MOVING.” Have a great week my perfectly flawed beautiful people!

Hello Perfectly Flawed,

My thought bubble for the week: When we fill our body with unhealthy things and don’t take care of it, our body starts to break down. We start having physical symptoms and health issues. So what happens to our mind when we fill it with unhealthy negative thoughts? It starts to break down. We start feeling overwhelmed, stressed out, anxious, depressed, hopeless, etc. We start having mental and emotional health issues. So just like we work at exercising and eating healthy to be physically healthy; we have to work at filling our mind with healthy and positive thoughts so that we can be emotionally and mentally healthy. Have a great week my perfectly flawed beautiful people!

Listening

Hello Perfectly Flawed,

My thought bubble for the week: “Last week I learned a lesson about interpreting information the way I wanted to; in a way that would benefit me. I was not paying attention to what the person was actually saying and definitely not paying attention to what they weren’t saying. I only heard what I wanted to hear. The lesson I learned is, when people are talking to us we have to not just hear them but we have to actually listen and pay attention. We have to listen to what they are actually saying and also to what they are not saying. Interpreting information the way we want to leads to misunderstandings, confusion, broken hearts, and disappointment. Oh well, we live, we learn, and keep it moving. Have a great week my perfectly flawed beautiful people!!
